I'm still learning terms. What does "sticky" mean?

Anyway- I'm trying to find a thread on the M113 Naturally Aspirated motors. I am trying to figure out of you have one of the 55's with this motor, what mods can be done to it? I am looking at a w210 E55 and a w215 CL55 (2002). Both naturally aspirated. What mods can be done?

2004 E55 with an E63 front bumper (the E55 bumper hit a deer)
Thinking about maybe getting different wheels, but I'm really happy on appearance for now.

The state that I bought the car in used front tags and my current state does not.
The plate bracket was screwed directly into the front bumper with self tapping screws.
Rather than repair/replace, I'm simply going with a front "vanity" plate.
In future, I may look into using a state tag, maybe one to match the plate on the back (if legally possible).
For now, I'm liking the newer transformers one.
Let me know if it's too kitsch or tacky, though my wife initially bought an AMG plate, which I thought to be a little bit showy.

Here's what they look like:

Thanks.
I recently decided that I didn't like the front plate so much as it obfuscates the cooler and hides the new shape bumper.

I bought some screw caps for 89c from Home depot and then painted them with MB touch up paint and clear coat.
The first pressure wash took the paint off, so I roughed them up with a fine sandpaper, repainted, and so far so good.
They're just stuck into the holes that the tag holder screws tapped with a bit of elmer's glue!

Here is the before and after:

I should get a better background than my garage, but I like the lighting on this.
It's a 3 image composite HDR with post processing.

Here is a wallpaper style image in fade to black (I prefer a black desktop) that I made from an HDR image of my car emerging into the sunlight.

I recently changed out the rims on my 2004 E55.

I went from the stock rims which were 18x9 all around, to the staggered 18x8.5 18x9.5 size the later E55/E63's use. I kept the existing tires (stock sized front 245/40 rear 265/35).

But after changing the rims out, the ride quality is noticeable much worse. Small imperfections in the road can be felt through the car much more heavily, and the vibrations/shock is now enough that something in the sunroof now rattles (it did not before).

The replacement rims are much lighter than the stock ones. Does the wonky airmatic system need to be configured to take into account the new rim weight? Or has changing the rims out made the suspension behave badly because it's not longer identical to stock?

Any suggestions or ideas?

Took the picture right after a light tint on all the lights!
