Winmaw accurately answered what an electronic fuse is in post #6. It is not a "fuse" in the conventional sense; it is actually a circuit that will sense an overload, disconnect when certain parameters are reached, and reset itself when the proper parameters exist again. It will remain disconnected 1) if the faulty equipment remains on the circuit, or 2) if there is a malfunction in the electronic fuse itself.
There are several electronic fuses; one is under the right rear seat and is associated with the SAM (Signal Acquisition Module) also located there. I believe others are located in the front SAMs (under the fuse panels under the hood). Because the one I know of is associated with a SAM, I suspect the other SAM units also have them. As I vaguely recall, there may be one associated with the air conditioning system as well.
They are not something that you just buy at the auto parts store and replace, as with ordinary fuses. Your dealer should have told you that it would take more diagnosis, and to bring the car in.
