2005 C230 Kompressor.
I installed a new timing chain and when I removed the clamps and cranked it a few times to get the CR I found the cams offset by 20 degrees at the crank. i.e. the intake cam is dead center with the crank at TDC but the exhaust is off by 20 degrees at the crank. I tried to move the chain up one link, but it is too much and the cams are just off the same amount in the opposite direction. The manual states it should be 6 degrees max. Anyone know what I can do to fix this issue?
