Need to replace battery.

In past used:

004-541-03 in 1997
004-541-45-01 in 2001
000000-0269 in 2004

Now current PN seems to be:
000-982-33-08 ?

Some suggest Odyssey 6313-06214125 but, I understand our V regulators not set up for the Odyssey ??

What do you guys suggest?

You are better off with a standard lead-acid battery. Size 49 is correct and Costco is the best source. (There are good and bad to Interstate battery types per reviews by Consumer Reports). Costco does use Interstate. Be careful about times when your car is not used. The battery parasite draw is significant and a battery can be drained after 3 weeks or so of non-use. Batteries do not like deep cycling. Either install a battery disconnect switch or run a battery maintainer during periods on non-use.

I've bought batteries for my SLs at Walmart.
Last one was EverStart Maxx H8 - about a year and half ago it was $150.
The other one is now over 8 years old.

BTW, I've seen batteries that work with our R107s at Home Depot too.

I'm an Interstate fan. One of these.

Best bang for the buck if you're a Costco member. Not all Costco carries the H8 though.

My first Walmart Everstart lasted 10 years.
My second Walmart Everstart lasted 7 years...my fault...I let it go flat over the winter .
