i have a 1992 300se w140 and really want to pull out my becker 1432 only and upgrade with an Alpine integrating with the BOSE AMP. Sounds like you have done it successfully!

Help, Your past posting could make life a lot easy before i launch into it.

Hi Jazztrax ,I'm not to sure who you are addressing here but just in case here is some important info for you of where to pass the wires thru ,all the rest of the radio install use the 1st pages of this threat ,it looks & sounds complicated but it really is easier then you actual think .

Feeding the wires thru the cabin , the changes are only at the front,instead of going up to the windscreen you feed them around the passenger footwell instead ,take the sides off .

Another way to install a radio is shown in this video ,it shows in the beginning how the Amp / Tuner & Antenna works together ,after it is inside the car installing an aftermarket radio .
A must watch for all early model W140's .
