Hello, I need help. I have installed a Mercedes WIS/ASRA programme on my Windows 11 laptop. Everything went fine until I came to the point of authorising the Workshop. It is not possible to authorise, the validation boxes which need to be ticked are not functional. Having taken a look at the server settings in the programme, it appears that the key is not being recognised as a valid one. The “valid” box is unticked. The key I generated with a key generator that was part of the software. This key generates two different numbers at one go: a WISnet key and an EPCnet key. During the installation process I was asked to enter a key and I entered the WISnet one and everything went fine in that the programme was fully installed.
The software I bought only has WIS/ASRA but no EPCnet. Is this what they call a “standalone WIS/ASRA”? If yes, do I need a different type of key generator which generates only a single key? What am I doing wrong?
I am leaning towards thinking that the key generator is not generating valid keys.
Perhaps anyone can help me with a good one which I can try out? My Mac address (LAN-ID) is AA39267A3D1E.
I added some screenshots showing the issue.
Thanks, Harry
