Time to replace the water pump.

I'm definitely not spending $450 for OEM, so it's between Graf and Meyle. Graf is less expensive but has a higher rating on Pelican. Any opinions/experience on this?

The part description says Graf has a cast-iron impeller. The material isn't specified for Meyle.

Where did you see $455 from? I see it costs $255 for a genuine Mercedes although I'm not sure if it is new or re-manufactured. I will post a link.

I would stay away from Meyle. They are made in China. I haven't really seen good or bad things about Graf. Supposedly Laso is the brand you want but I don't see a Laso water pump for your engine. Graf water pumps have a metal impeller but I don't know about the Meyle I can't find a description either.

I would go with MB OEM Re-manufactured...I did and glad I did. I researched it back when and there is a material difference. Regarding Meyle it is China and that issue has been discuss to death.

Just think of all the $$$ you save doing the job yourself e.g. no labor cost. Take some of that savings and buy the better part. if you plan on keeping the car (I know I am) and don't plan on re-doing the job for another 180K miles (I know I'm not)

Oh no, I'm definitely not doing the job myself lol. I'd probably end up setting the car on fire.

I'm just gonna order the part and give it to my mechanic. I'll look for a remanufactured Mercedes pump, but all I'm seeing are new ones. I can't justify $300 on a part when the Behr (OEM supplier) is only $98.
