Recently i saw a C32 AMG and i noticed that it was the same 3.2L V6 as my 2004 E320, but it had a superchager. After some research i found out that the C32 AMG has the same M112 engine as the Chrysler Crossfire and the E320 and some other Mercedes Benz models, but it has a supercharger attached to it. i was wondering if i would be able to buy that supercharger and be able to use and install it, and if so, how difficult it would be and if it would be worth it or not, in terms of price to added power. Thanks and an help is greatly appreciated.

I've driven a c230 and I liked the ride and handling and power, and I can only imagine the power of the c32. But the only problem is that it's a little too small for me, and I prefer the design of the w211. Thanks

E63 costs a little too much for me,but I'm starting to look for a E55. I found a 04 E55 with 122k miles. The asking price is 16k OBO and it sounds like it has a bad supercharger bearing. I've watched some videos and I think I can replace it, if I get the car for the right price. What do you think? Keep in mind, where I live there are very few AMG's on the road, so I have very little options to choose from, and the prices are higher. Thanks

BTW I have an 04 E320 with 95k miles. I don't know how big of a deal that extra 26k miles makes.

I would suspect that 122k miles on an E55 are quite a different thing than even 244k (let alone 95k) on an E320. Nobody buys an E55 to drive it to church and back, so if the car was beat bad enough to where the supercharger bearing is worn, I tremble at the thought of what kind of shape the rest of it must be in.

Yeah but if I buy this E55 I want to be able to drive it everywhere and I want to enjoy it, and it's going to be a commuter. I can only imagine how bad it was driven, that the bearing wore out for 122k miles and I am afraid of what else might have gone wrong. I test drove it and everything else seemed fine. Any ideas? Should I pass this one up? Thanks

Back on the hunt again. I found a few more options that I could take. I really want to get a nicer car soon. These are all the cars that are in my price range and that I'm interested in.

2004 S55 AMG with 90k miles
2005 CLS55 AMG with 101k miles
2005 BMW M5 with 88k miles

Ive never had a BMW so I don't know what to expect with that, but those are my current findings and the S55 comes from an MB dealer with a 1yr/10k certified pre owned warrAnty.

Thanks
