Starting this discussion to get the facts on URO suspension parts. Upper and Lower Front control arms, ball joints suspension parts and so on. Want to make this for members who actually bought and used the parts only and not opinions. I am seeing a lot of threads on this but not many members stepping in and sharing there experience. Please keep it on ERO parts. I understand Lemforder parts are the best or are they. I have 73000 on my stock ones and they need to be replaced. Don't sound the best to me!

It’s kinda hit and miss with those parts. I’ve used uro parts that disintegrated in a week.. and some are still functioning on the car presently. I personally wouldn’t put those parts in a critical area or a spot that takes slot of labor.

This was back about 2008. My lower control arm bushings rotted out and and the resulting misalignment ate up the tires with in 3 days on the inner edge if I remember correctly back that far.

I needed to get the Car back on the Road as soon as possible and since I had to be prepared for the replacement of yet to be discovered parts I ordered a compete front end kit. Which turned out to all URO arts. Zero of the URO parts are marked where they are made.
For some reason the complete front end kit at that time comes with rear stabilizer bar links and rear control arm bushings. It did come with new Upper Control Arms and one of the Ball Joints in one of my Upper Control Arms was no good.

What I used back in 2008 was the new Upper control Arms and the Lower Control Arm Bushings. I did not change the lower front Ball Joints but later I removed the plastic Boots and used those.
I later acquired some Lemforder lower front Ball Joints and did some measuring. If you have read about installing new lower ball joints you will find they are hard to press back in. Well the URO Ball Joints were slightly fatter and had more metal in the are where they need to be pressed in that means they would be harder to press in.

I believe this is my thread on the measuring; Ball Joints, Differances In Tolerances, 123 - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

I installed the new upper Control Arms and used the Lower Control Arm Bushings and they are still on the Car today. However, I only drive about 5,000 miles a year or less on California City and Freeway Roads which for the most part a really decent.

With in the last 2 years I installed the Rear Control Arm bushings and the Rear Sway/Torsion Bar Links so it is kind of too soon to tell.

Not about the suspension but my URO Motor Mounts lasted 5 years and that was part of me fixing all of the possible stuff that caused the Engine to shake. That means there was no shaking causes to over work the Motor Mounts.

I still have the Tie Rods that came in the Kit but have not needed them. People have said they don't hold up. I have not used the drag link kits.

That is all I can remember. If I remember more I will have to post again.
