Hearing sort of a thumping sound - sort of sounds like somebody bouncing a tennis ball - coming from somewhere in the air filter compartment. When I pop the top on the air filter compartment, the sound gets louder and has more echo like it's coming from further back in that housing that attaches to the motor. It doesn't effect the performance at all like your expect from a vacuum leak (although that's what it sounds like it might be). Idles perfectly, drives and accelerates perfectly. But the best description would be if you were in a house and somebody was bouncing a tennis ball in one of the hallways. When I heard it, I actually looked around to see if somebody was bouncing a ball. Really weird. Anybody know what it could be? it's not a consistent beat but more intermittent although it makes the sound at least every 10 - 15 seconds. It just isn't a rhythmic, consistent sound.
