Screwed by a charcoal canister

That canister is a standard maintenance/service item, I remember telling the Dealership to replace the charcoal filter when it was in for a service recently as it was well overdue, [the same Dealership that has serviced the car since new] they looked at me funny like what the hell you talkin about boy, then proceeded to replace the fuel filters instead.

Well there you go, the book is a little confusing at this point, it clearly mentions operations for the 140 and 129 as separate items in the book, but when it gets to these two operations it does not quote 140 or 129, the default is 124. I am putting this down to a mistake by MB. I also think they made a mistake by apparently not including this as a replacement item in the owners workshop booklet.

Yes that's right but when the book covers something to do with a specific model it mentions that i.e. "for 140", or "for 129 & 140 only". So under these circumstances the user would logically assume anything in there that does not specifically mention 140 or 129 or any other model covered by the book, is for the default model which in this case is the 124.

Anyway, I've got one here ready to go in.
