Nox sensor 2 injector cleaning

So a while back the engine light came on and I took it to the mechanic, it was apparently the nox sensor 2, after I came home and I had a look on Google to see what other options I might have before I go and buy a new sensor or delete the add blue altogether. I saw on YouTube and his forum people mentioning cleaning the injector part because it builds up with carbon. So I thought yes, I will do this first, then go back to the mechanic get him to reset and see if the light turns on again. It costs me nothing to do this and since I'll be under the car doing the oil change might as well kill 2 birds with 1 stone. So changed the oil and oil filter and then proceeded to the nox injector and what can i say, it was filled with carbon and as you can see in the photo there was only a small hole. After cleaning it (scraping the carbon off then pouring hot water on a cloth and cleaning the rest, the hole is much larger now. If this doesn't work, I will try and clean the sensors before I decide to do anything else. I know cleaning the nox sensor doesn't really work from what I've read out there. Anyway thanks.

Let us know if it works!
Nope, it didn’t work, so options are to change both nox sensors or do a delete adblue. I think I’ll go option 2 after reading that sometimes even after replacing the nox sensors the engine light still comes on. But in saying that the car runs a lot smoother, even my wife can tell
