That gives me more info, i think it is the sensor on the intake manifold that controls the tickover, i will try to find out whether its the map sensor or something different

Some more light reading for you, it would be easier if it went on a star machine as this should give you the exact problem

P2023 check Y83 (intake air manifold turnoff switch valve).Circuit open
P2023 check Y83 (intake air manifold turnoff switch valve). It is OFF when left intake air
manifold is closed.
P2023 check Y83 (intake air manifold turnoff switch valve). It is OFF when right intake air
manifold is closed.
P2023 check Y83 (intake air manifold turnoff switch valve). It is ON when left intake air
manifold is closed.
P2023 check Y83 (intake air manifold turnoff switch valve). It is ON when right intake air
manifold is closed.
P2023 check Y83 (intake air manifold turnoff switch valve).Short to ground
P2023 check Y83 (intake air manifold turnoff switch valve).Short
P2023 K40/7kN (air pump relay)(P0410)
P2023 K40/7kN (Air pump relay)(P0410)
P2023-001 component G3/1 (O2 sensor before CAT) heating device,positive short [P0141]
P2023-002 component G3/1 (O2 sensor before CAT) heating device,overload short [P0141]
P2023-004 component G3/1 (O2 sensor before CAT) heating device,wire interrupt [P0141]

hi

Hi a friend get some infomation from my car , before i went to the dealer who is far away
I see different keys on fuel banks , please can you see if something is wrong

Attachments

To me the MAF figures seem low and with the fuel trim being out aswell i would suspect either a Lambda sensor or MAF fault. If it goes on a star machine it will tell you exactly where and what to look at. I'm sorry i can't be more specific but without having the car in front of me to test it is nearly impossible to tell you exactly what is wrong

hi guys, hope this thread is stil active

i own a vito 115cdi, its got 316500km on it, some time ago, the nr4 injector hold down bolt came loos and the injector popped out, i got it fixed and all was well, i now noticed that a have considerably less power, it wasn't noticeable at first but i think it gradually became worse until a friend of mine drove it with a light load and told me it has no way near the power it had a couple of months ago , i took it to guys with the comp testing gear, all they said i must replace is the cam sensor, but it still doesn't have power, just now i went and read the fault list on this thread, its not the same fault as mine, it gave an error 720, P0720 Output Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction, can this be the problem i'm having, very little power and heavy on fuel? if i say very little power, its a crew cab, with nothing loaded in it, it loses speed when i to sixth gear and i flatten the pedal to get 120km/h in 5th, if you have other thoughts or questions to get a clearer picture plz let me know, thank you

Code 1d/2d

Folks,

Vito has just clocked 20,000 Kms and has started to sound a single beep when starting the motor and the display shows either 1d or 2d for about 20 seconds and then display reverts to normal. Should I be worried ? :crybaby2:

Probably looking at this all wrong and can't find it on the web my 2001 108cdi flashes up "20300" on the dash with a spanner next to it is this a fault code or a service code and what does it mean will try and get it onto my mates computer asap but thought is ask here

Mr

Hi have put 2 new batteries on my S350 the 2nd one from Mercedes - no difference - ignition key will only move to position 1 if I jump the batteries and keep the charge from the jump car on. Take off the jump and the key won't turn again; any help appreciated

Motorhome fault codes

We drive a motorhome on a 2009 Sprinter 313 chassis. Fault codes on steering wheel panel show b62 and b69. B69 may be flat battery, but can anyone help? These come on when the ignition is switched on and disappear when the engine fires up.

Thanks

All vehicles pre 2000 don't have the same communication protocols as the ones after 2001. So if you want to read those cars you cant use an eobd reader. you can build an analogic code reader just google it.
