LED fog light replacement for 2006 SL500

Hello -

I'm trying to find LED fog light bulbs that fit my 2006 SL500. The owners manual states that I need bulb 9006/HB4. However, I have tried three different sets of bulbs. The plug is correct, but the aftermarket bulb does not fit the housing. My stock halogen bulb has a larger circumference, which allows the stock bulb to fit the housing properly. The aftermarket bulbs have a smaller circumference, which does not fit the stock housing properly.

Can someone please put a link to aftermarket LED fog light bulbs that work?

You may get an error code, if the car monitors bulb draw form the fogs? I had to install resistors on my BMW motorcycle since the ZFE (computer head) for the canbus system monitors the draw from the incandescent bulbs and expects to see a higher draw then the LED's put out. It thinks the bulb is burnt out.

I am not sure if they will fit a MY2006, but these worked for me. They have resistors built-in so they draw about 55w and throw no errors.
