My 2010 mercedes benz c300 4matic had the the engine light on that morning, I fill up the tank and it wouldn't turn on. We hit the fuel pump and it turn on. We were going to replace the fuel pump. To lower the gas, but now engine light is off and 3/4 of gas now and it haven't fail tu turn on since. We were wondering if could be fuel tank pressure. And in the past had trouble with lean bank 1 and 2. What can I do or check? Please help anyone

I'd suggest giving the whole fuel system a once-over. Check the fuel pump, fuel lines, pressure regulator, and injectors. Look for any damage, leaks, or blockages that could be messing with how fuel gets to the engine.
Also, measure the fuel pressure at different spots in the system. Low pressure could be behind those starting problems and those lean conditions.
