This is for the Mercedes Benz C320 year 2004 - the Pending Trouble Codes were P0112 Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit Low Bank 1 and P0101 Mass or Volume Air Flow Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance; 0 confirmed trouble codes

A bad MAF sensor will not prevent starting or running (though it may run poorly). You can unplug it and try starting to verify. You said you replaced the CPS. Where did you get the new one? If from eBay or Amazon, it may be fake crap.

At some point you need to check your fuel pressure.. It's been my experience,. start then stall.. Is a fuel pump on it's way out..

 

There is also one part that is usually forgotten and can lead to failure to start. But i'm not sure if it can be the reason for C320.
In my C220 the O rings lost its elasticity at some fuel line connections and that lead to the car refusing to start. This was a year ago or so and i can't recall exactly where the mechanic replaced these O rings but i have some pictures from that time which might help.

 

Also, another experience with C220, i had a crankshaft/camshaft sensor failure. After replacing that car would start without issues, but before that, it would just crank but wouldn't start.
