BAS/ESP light plus code C1330

I have the above on my 2003 ML 350 (157). The vehicle drives normally but occasionally, it acts like there is a "slip" on one of the wheels and the yellow diamond comes on briefly and traction control cuts in.

I had the codes read today on a scanner and it came up as C1330 to do with a permanent error on the brake solenoid. I had a look on the thread

but the information seems to be relevant to a different model/engine.

I would be very grateful for any advice.

I will have to have the codes re read. I suspect that we may have chosen the wrong vehicle on the reader that was used in that case.

We selected Mercedes W163 and then there was a choice of engines/variants but there were a number of v6 engines (157) wasn't listed so we made a guess.

The error code came from the chassis section of the variant we chose.

Is it also worth checking the cable connections for the wheel sensors as the rear suspension was rebuilt recently?
