FINALLY - its arrived. I hope u guys at Arnotts made it ride slighly harder than the standard setting. Its best if its on the 1st Sports Setting. 2nd Sports setting might be to hard for most. Praise the Lord! I have been taking the risk of breaking down in the country for long enough...finally i get to my summer road trip to the mountains this year with my girlfriend without worrying about being stranded in the middle of nowhere!

Adam, please give more information about the ride and ease of installation especially about eliminating the ERROR lights - Is it PLUG N PLAY? Tell us more!

Jurka, they also rebuilt and update factory Airmatic shocks for resale for those who want to keep thier factory system, thus why they would like the cores back.

 

hmm, so I cannot swap airmatic struts with springs,and sell my struts..i have to give them back? then its not worth it. I d better sale my existing struts while they are good, and get some money back.

but to send them back to USA from UK, will cost a bomb

AIRmatic Conversion

Hi everyone! Sorry for the late reply. I have been out of the country all week. The kit does require a $200 core deposit. You do not have to return all the shock cores if you have good ones that you want to sell for more money. You will get $50.00 each for every core you decide to return to us. It allows us to rebuild your old cores and recycle them.

We are still working on the conversion kit for the cars equipped with ABC. It’s a bit more difficult due to the lack of sway bars. The only way you can convert the ABC suspension is to add sway bars. This will require new lower control arms for the front suspension along with mounting new sway bars on the front and rear of the suspension. Without them, the car will lean very causing a very dangerous ride.

Hi, just one concern, i have installed a lowering rod on my car(99, s320) can i still use them after installing this kit? its from adjustable air ride. i like to keep the lowered look of my car. thanks

Yes that discount code was extended till the end of 2011.

You can still install the kit with the lowering links. It will not matter because the kit will not self level anymore. You will no longer have air suspension and the car will set at our ride height.

Arnott - does it eliminate the Sport 1 & 2 mode?? that woud be could to somehow create electronic stiffening of suspension? or does it already include it??!!!!!!!! thatd be cool

 

The kit overrides the sport dampening feature. The shocks are not electronic and will not auto dampen with electronic solenoids.

I'm not trying to sound idiotic, if I do please excuse me, but will the lowering of the suspension still work with the buttons? Like can the driver still use the button, and the car do it automatically at highway speeds?

 

If doing the coil conversion the air suspension features will no longer be functional.
