Hello everyone I am happy to finally announce that our coil spring conversion kit is available for the S-Class (W220). Sorry for all the delays. We have worked extra hard over the past 4 years to develop a nearly perfect coil spring replacement kit for S-Class. Here are a few pictures of the complete kit as well as some close ups of the front and rear shocks assemblies. I will include more pictures and drawings later this month. I know some of you have mixed feelings about replacing your AIRmatic system with a coil spring set up. Your concerns have certainly motivated us to work extra hard to develop a kit that rides and handles up to everyone’s high expectations. We have worked tirelessly on testing different spring rates and valving combinations to produce a product that rides and handles as close to the factory air suspension as possible. We worked directly with Bilstein to develop and tune the shock valving, and even had some of their seasoned road testing engineers come down and help us do the final tuning of this kit. The kit comes complete with everything needed to replace your entire AIRmatic system. It also comes with our exclusive computer module we designed to wire directly into the factory suspension module to eliminate all error lights on your dash. This kit retails for $1395.00. Also remember you can still use the 10% discount code posted in our sponsor forum. This kit is currently only available for non-4matic and cars not equipped with ABC. We plan on releasing kits for those models later this year.
Please let me know if any of you have any comments or questions I can answer.

Thanks
Adam Arnott

Please let me know as soon as you have a kit available for the '06 S65. I will be purchasing at least one kit as soon as they are available. These will give ride height adjustability, as well as shock bump/rebound and a stiffer ride than stock. Yes? PM/email me with details if you like.

Thanks,
Ricky

FINALLY - its arrived. I hope u guys at Arnotts made it ride slighly harder than the standard setting. Its best if its on the 1st Sports Setting. 2nd Sports setting might be to hard for most. Praise the Lord! I have been taking the risk of breaking down in the country for long enough...finally i get to my summer road trip to the mountains this year with my girlfriend without worrying about being stranded in the middle of nowhere!

Adam, please give more information about the ride and ease of installation especially about eliminating the ERROR lights - Is it PLUG N PLAY? Tell us more!

AIRmatic Conversion

Hi everyone! Sorry for the late reply. I have been out of the country all week. The kit does require a $200 core deposit. You do not have to return all the shock cores if you have good ones that you want to sell for more money. You will get $50.00 each for every core you decide to return to us. It allows us to rebuild your old cores and recycle them.

We are still working on the conversion kit for the cars equipped with ABC. It’s a bit more difficult due to the lack of sway bars. The only way you can convert the ABC suspension is to add sway bars. This will require new lower control arms for the front suspension along with mounting new sway bars on the front and rear of the suspension. Without them, the car will lean very causing a very dangerous ride.

Below is a link where you can view and download the installation instructions for our conversion kit. Please let me know if you all have any more questions I can answer.

If doing the coil conversion the air suspension features will no longer be functional.
