Hello all....my wife got a new 2019 AMG C43 6 weeks ago. It had 35 miles on it. The car will shift in unexpected ways with the car being very jerky in its shifting. The first week it was back at the dealer after the car bucking while shifting gears, but it threw no error codes and they dismissed it as it being new and needing to be broken in. .
My wife drove it for another week and while far from smooth in it's driving it didn't act as it did that first time that prompted a return to the dealer. The next week, while she was out with her mother, it started bucking like a bronco. My mother in law described it as "violent" in the way it behaved..
It has happened 4 times in the brief time the car has been in our possession. My wife describes it as she'll press the accelerator and the car will not want to go and then lurch forward abruptly and start with that bucking motion. For all to know, she has it in Comfort mode and it is in automatic not manual.
Tomorrow is 3 weeks that we dropped it back at the dealership for it to be diagnosed but we've heard nothing as to what it could be. It seems that without throwing a code no one knows what to do. They were calling MB engineers to see what they knew but at this point it's beyond frustrating.
Anyone else have any situation similar to this?
