I've bought my E550 a few weeks ago and have already done little mods to it. I'm looking to lower it, and have searched this forum and the other big site for the washer method. I couldn't find any detailed info, but grasp the concept that it's as simple as putting some washers over the sensor stud and relight ending. I'm mechanically inclined, but cannot figure out which sensor and which stud!

There is a sensor in the wheel well that I would imagine is for the airmatic system, however I don't see a stud holding it on- or any way of bending it to trick the computer. Has anyone done it on an E550? I've included some pictures. If someone can tell me if I'm on the right track it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I have no problems using $2.00 worth of washers do lower the car, I just have no clue where to put them- or if it even works on the w212. It may only be for older models, I'm not sure. They only threads I can find that cover the washer lowering are from many years ago.
