Sign and Drive 1-800-367-6372
"Every Mercedes-Benz in the U.S. - no matter how old, how many miles it's logged or how many owners it's had - qualifies for Roadside Assistance, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
What should I do if I run out of gas?
If I get a flat tire?
If my battery dies?"
When you own a Mercedes-Benz, the answer is simple: don't worry. Roadside Assistance Program includes a free service called Sign and Drive, providing prompt relief for the three biggest headaches of the highways. "We'll jump-start your run-down battery, bring you a few gallons of fuel to get you back on your way or change a flat tire using your spare, all free of charge. Charges may apply for replacement parts (like a battery)."
Note: Don't forget to ask them to reset the Power Windows, ESP, Audio, Clock, and Auto Central Locking.
Mercedes-Benz USA FAQ's, Roadside Assistance
All Mercedes-Benz vehicles, regardless of age, mileage or ownership, are eligible to use our Roadside Assistance Program. Roadside Assistance can be contacted by calling 1-800-FOR-MERCEDES (1-800-367-6372) or by pressing the wrench button in your vehicle (if your vehicle is equipped with Tele Aid with active service agreement - only where cellular and GPS are available).
Sign and Drive: Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance will arrange to bring you some fuel if you run out, replace your flat tire with your spare, or jump-start your vehicle if your battery is dead - all at no charge, for as long as you're driving a Mercedes-Benz (or even someone else's). Charges may apply for replacement parts. *For certain models (i.e. AMG) which have no spare tire, Roadside Assistance provides inflation of a flat tire after using the vehicle's Tirefit puncture sealant.
Trip Interruption: If your Mercedes-Benz is still under warranty, Trip Interruption provides reimbursement to help defray your documented expenditures for accommodations, meals and related travel expenses under the following conditions: - The breakdown occurs more than 100 miles from your home. - The problem is covered by warranty and renders the vehicle inoperable or unsafe to drive. - Your vehicle remains overnight(s) at an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership while repairs are performed. A Mercedes-Benz Dealer will reimburse you up to $300 per night* for documented actual lodging, food, and related travel expenses, for a maximum of three consecutive nights from your vehicle's initial disablement.
*All Trip Interruption claims and documentation must be presented to and approved by an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership. Please see the service department at your local dealer for details.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Towing: In the event your vehicle requires a tow, Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance can facilitate arrangements for your vehicle to be towed to the nearest authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer. The tow service providers, however, are not contracted through Mercedes-Benz, and their response times, as well as their costs, will vary. The Roadside Assistance Program does not cover the cost of towing. Please see the Warranty Information Booklet that accompanied your vehicle or discuss with your authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer to ascertain whether or not towing charges may be covered for a warrantable repair.
