It is under the dash end of the center console (below the cigar lighter/ash tray), see attachment below.

thanks I removed the centre arm rest storage section, I assume i should have not touched this, are there any separate instruction on how to remove the cigarette lighter area to expose the control unit, is it the front cigarette lighter you are referring to

When it comes to the SRS, I would follow the instructions to the letter. Better than having an airbag detonate inadvertently.
