What audio format is supported??

What audio format other than mp3 is supported by APS20/APS50/MM??
I recently had my 08 C300 w/ APS20 retroffited with UMI kit and I am puzzled that I can only play mp3 file even via direct usb connection..
I tried aac, flac, ape, wave, wma and apple lossless and none of them works..

I know it's a long shot for the MB to support format such as aac or flac, but I thought wave or wma would be supported..but I guess not..I was hoping to put all the cds I have on a 16gb usb drive with wma lossless format..

For those of you with regular APS20 or MM with PCMCIA slot, what audio format other than CD/DVD/mp3 have you successfully played on your w204??

I play 128kbps wma files all the time on my 08 C300 regular APS20 using CD-R's.

I don't have the W204 audio manual reachable but a copy of the W212 manual states that variable rate VMA and DRM protected VMA files are not supported, neither VMA PRO. Sampling rate and bit rates have a wide range, anything one would want to play in the car should work.

I have APS20, and use only CD/MP3. In keeping to packing list of my car, i have not usb connection.

I have 2006 s350 I was trying to put PCMCIA with so card the songs I put it’s mp3 format but still my car cannot read it, some one can help with that
