Would you be so kind as to send the fuel pump relay schematic to me too. And if possible the wiring schematic of the 1984 230E. Much appreciated.

Hope this might help you guys. Just sorted out the wiring connections for the fuel pump relay

 

There's one device? I don't know what parts is that. Is has a question mark. Because i cant find a name or label for it based on the book.
As the books say thats number 26. But when i look at the book theres no nimber 26. After 25 its 27. So i cant define what is that part with the same wire as the fuel pump

This is a wiring diagram for a non Australian market 230E but it should be fine for most electrical fault finding, certainly lighting.

 

Thanks for that - I am having trouble making out the detail to read that diagram - I think I found this one on the net but hard to read!

Yes I thought that maybe the case. I photocopied it from this book that is still available. I see they are on ebay
I don't know about prices but the wiring diagrams for the 230E are invaluable if you were going to keep the car

I made a PDF from one drawing but not the other for some reason and don't have that ability now.

 

I just purchased that book and it will be invaluable for my 1981 230CE. The wiring diagrams are not the best quality but adequate. I highly recommend it if you are planning to work on your own car. Repair data for the M102.980 motor is devilishly hard to find and this book has the most I've seen.
