I replaced all the wheel senders in my 2011 ML350 about a year ago. One of them went bad and I only had 3 showing a readout. I replaced the bad sender and the entire system went down with the inoperative message showing. I have an aftermarket head unit so I couldn't use the Command system to reset the system. I was going to take it to my service provider to see if they could reset it. Then out of the blue all 4 wheels started working and I was getting pressure readouts. I thought, cool it's back. Uh, no. They all failed again with the TPMS System Inoperative message and the yellow tire outline showing.
Anyone ever had the receiver unit go bad? Anyone know where that is or what it's called? Will it show if the service provider hooks up the computer to the car?
