Hi, I own a W211, 2003 model E500 and have since bought an AMG Supercharger that was removed from and SL55. I would like to know if anyone has attempted this and what other items I need to shop for.

Hi
As far as I know there are much more differences between the SC Amg Engine and the MB V8 than just the SC-er . The 55 AMG has other pistons because of the different compression. With the OEM Pistons I think it will not work.
You can bolt on a SC to the normal V8 ( lorinser, kleeman..), but they use lower boost .
Good luck for the job!

A friend of mine has a CLK55 with a AMG Blower on it and it took LOTS of work and $$$$$ to make it right..different blower pulley..software..fabrication work
Software and LOTS OF $$$$$$..I Would Not recommend the conversion after what it took to do it the right way...Would have been cheaper to locate a Factory AMG 55 compressor engine swap them..and resell the stock engine..

Why not go with a Kleemann? If you are good with a wrench, we can sell you one.

OR, we can just get you an AMG engine.

Happy Benzing!!!

Contact Brabus they pull the 55 SC motors out to put in their V12 also contact RennTech they may know someone selling a stock AMG motor. I have seen one on eBay a few weeks ago. I also saw a 55 SC for sale did you buy that unit? I would sell your car and buy an AMG with SC on it it will be a lot better deal for you. Whenever I built a car it was in the shop for months then you have to work out all the bugs.
