SRS code B1010

My SRS light is on and my one indy friend checked it for free saying it is code B1010. He reset it but it is back on right away. That was the most he could do but did not charge me. I've read something about control unit undervoltage for that code. Need some help here or I guess it is off to my local MB indy. Could this be caused by the occupancy sensor? I think it came on with the car running as my passenger got in but was not on with just myself in the car. If it is that how hard to replace it and what part number would it be?
There is an undervoltage to terminal 15R on the SRS module. Does anyone know where that connects to on the input side?

Check your batter system. A defective "consumer" battery in the trunk, or a bad power module (battery controller) could be the issue.

Hey Rodney, all that checks out great 14v and a new AGM rear 5 months back. No consumers off line either which was a pain till new batt. I do have a fuse chart, rt fuse box, showing a 7.5 amp in F6 "passenger restraint system", mine is 10 amp unblown but your recent post of early 2003 sl's shows a -- for F6. Any thoughts on that? I have not pulled the fuse and checked for voltage at terminal box but it looks ok. I'm not much on doing such things for fear I may unprogram something else I may need and cannot fix. All my elec seems fine except SRS.

SDS doesn't offer much help here. It suggests a wiring problem, or a problem with the front right SAM. I guess I;d start checking for any corrosion on the wiring connectors or fuse panel.

Did you find out the cause?

The connector beneath the passenger seat was loose on mine. It is a pivot with a long piece that you close on the swinging end. You can remove the storage compartment forward and at the bottom of the seat; raise the seat bottom using the controls switch.
