Thanks for your reply and you are right. A local paint supplier told me that he was 90% sure that the paint code was artic white 9147. I took a sample and tried it and it was a perfect match.

Hi Vantastic,
I went to a local paint shop as I had no luck with the local Mercedes Distributor and he told me that it was likley to be Artic White 9147.
I decided to by a sample and try it and it worked out fine.
