had same issue.

My top closed most of the way and then stopped. Found out it was the left side flap micro switch that didn't make contact. Make sure both flaps are fully pressed against trunk. I had one dropping down slightly. Bought the repair kit ($52) and fixed the problem in 1/2 hour. Hope you have the same luck.

Yes, but the boot did not lower because of the open micro switch to finish the sequence. Once the boot lowered the top clicked and the top was fully closed
