Replace Radiator Lower and Upper Hose

I changed my serpentine belt on my 2013 S550 and noticed some blue fuzzy stuff around the bottom of my radiators upper and lower hoses. Is there any special thing I need to do after changing these two hoses?

These are the steps I'm thinking:

1) Drain antifreeze via the bottom radiator plug
2) Take off upper and lower hose and replace with new hoses
3) Refill radiator with the recommended 50/50 mix of coolant & water
4) Run engine a few minutes and then turn off to check to see if full

Am I missing anything the 2013 S550 beast requires in doing this myself? Advice welcome!

It is not 4Matic and has the M278 engine twin turbo.

I've not had good luck getting the cooling circuit fully burped on these cars (and my previous W210) without a vacuum evacuator/filler. You might consider buying one if you plan on keeping the car. I have two, but the one I really like is this one the RobinAir 75620 75260

It's about $100 on Amazon but really works like a charm.

How is it used? I've never heard of these.

Sorry, fixed the typo.

You put the rubber cone in your coolant reservoir fill hole, connect an air hose to this little dude and it uses a venturi effect to remove all the air from the system. Once it's down to -25psi or so, shut off the air by releasing the button on the unit. Then, take the hose that is included and stick it in a bucket of coolant mix (50/50, g48) sufficient to refill your cooling system. Open the valve on the evacuator and coolant is drawn into the cooling system filling all the voids where vacuum was. It seems like more work, but I've never had to do this twice, always gets the air out the first time.
