It's not too awfully difficult to find the engine number on the 606. If you are standing in front of the car, hood open and looking at the engine, locate the spin-on fuel filter. In the area directly behind and to the left of the fuel filter is a flat boss machined on the engine block. The numbers are stamped on the flat boss. You may have to take a rag with a little fuel on it to clean off the flat.

hey seubill, just finished taking the stencils. yup, the numbers where there, though it did give me a little bit of trouble getting in there, but i was able to get what i needed. thank you so very much for the help!!!!
