I purchased an update NAV DVD from Ebay for my 2006 CDI but it could not load. The seller told me that I needed to update my software so I purchased the software update DVD. However the software update does not take place. It is getting frozen in the middle of the operation and then the NAV system shuts down and then comes up in audio mode. Pictures attached.
I was told I just need to put the DVD in the NAV slot in the trunk and it should work. Is there any other trick that would help?

Navigation processor (trunk) update disc 211589152200

Get COMAND head unit update disc 211589162200 if you can find it.

Try this. Insert navigation database update disc (v15.0) into trunk processor, make sure vehicle is parked outside. If update fails, eject disc and install processor update disc (211589152200). If this fails, eject disc. Insert COMAND update disc (211589162200) in radio head unit see attachment. Successful, eject disc. Install 211589152200 to trunk processor. Eject, install v15.0.
