I know these are not technically service manuals and we've lost 420 SE, but

Now I'm going to share this info here only for the moment as I'm not sure how my sharing method is goin to go but if anyone wants the W126 2 CD Workshop Manual (on a limited time & numbers basis until I get the sharing method sorted) let me know and I'll share a link to a OneDrive folder on the condition you download the files then release your access to the files.

Hm, I didn't know there was a manual lumbar adjustment available on the W126!

The 81 380SEL manual also shows the only time I've seen a USA owner's manual not match the equipment exactly for the USA market:

After falling down a rabbit hole last night, I found some PDF's of some various 1980's owner's manuals for the USA/Canada market. Here's the ones for the 1981 - 1989 S class. Not one for every single model/model year, of course not ever model year had changes.

Hi ath20wj - I have tried to open/download the manual for my 1986 420SEL, however it won't open using your link.
Can you help me please?
BTW, my laptop does not take CDs so that route is no help to me.

CD/DVD drives with USB interfaces are only about $20 these days.
