Hi guys, any help would be appreciated, I've recently purchased a adapter to stream over Bluetooth or USB for the MMI via the aux input. I have the very annoying MMI in the glovebox, a simple aux would of been nice. Anyway the device I purchased isint working, that's either because it's a load of crap, awaiting on eBay seller to respond, or the MMI is not working, because of the very specific connection I can't try work anything else to see if the port is buggered, what I would like to know is, does this port have problems and how can you check if it's working. What did you buy? I have used a CarPro adapter that plugs into the 30-pin iPod cable and it works fine, though sometimes it causes hands-free phone use to cut out randomly.

After trying various cables connected to the socket in the glove box I have noticed that the MMI socket powers up when command is switched on but after 20 secs the socket loses power, so frustrating all I want is for the aux to work 🙄 had anyone had any experience with this, I'm going to pull everything it over the weekend to see if the wiring is the cause.

After testing many BT devices, I ended up connecting a 30-pin Apple to Lightning cable to my iPhone. The only solution that has been stable. Phone, music, maps... all working.
