Hey folks,
I'm looking to buy a tow vehicle that can seat 4. Doesn't need to be great fuel economy, and I was thinking the ML500 would be pretty cool and serve a couple other benefits for use. I've read some of the posts here under this subforum and it's really looking like people should RUN from these trucks. Fact?
I generally will do all of my own car work - I'm not afraid to swap transmissions/engines, etc. I've done so with many different vehicles, like Subaru WRX, Eagle Talons, Mitsubishi Eclipse/3000GT VR4 and some offroad vehicles. Would I be getting in over my head on one of these fancy newer Mercs?
I do daily drive old W123 cars currently, which I know would be a totally different thing to work on...
