Hey team.

The Fob / Keyless Go is acting odd.

The Pushbutton Ignition does not work.
However, I am able to lock/unlock the doors by touching the handle and open the truck with the Fob Button.

I am able to start the ignition by removing the Start button and using the Fob as the Key.

When pushing the Ignition Start button, the red light on the Fob flashes.

Video of issue:

I recently changed the Fob Battery so I ruled out that issue.

Has anyone seen this before?
I've searched but couldn't find this exact issue.

Thank you!

Hi, were you able to find a solution? I need to replace my key fob and the dealer told me that all replacement fobs do not have the keyless go feature. Unobtanium!

Mine acted similar way after a battery replacement on the key fob . Well, I tried this method :
When you get in the car press the unlock button , then press lock button after that press unlock button on the keyfob . You should be able to see the read triangle flashing . Then , you will be able to start the car . This has happened to me a few times but by some luck or not it's been working nicely for a long time

I also went through this I finally used a 2032 battery instead of a 2025 and bought a name brand battery (Duracell or energizer) not a no name brand from amazon. Car started first time. Apparently the key fob transmits to different modules for the different functions and for the keyless start function it needs a little more from the battery and the cheaper batteries just don’t work, or if they do, not for very long.
