K-Jet Idle Mixture Adjustment Question

Hi Again all,

Finishing up on my fuel system tweaking, tomorrow I'm going to make final touches on the idle mixture adjustment. Looks like someone at some point has already adjusted this as the blockout slug has already been removed and the 3mm allen nut is visible. Now, to ENRICH the fuel mixture, do I turn the screw counterclockwise, or clockwise???????????

And yes, I'm going to be doing this in VERY small and gradual increments till the reading is to spec.

The car again is an 85' 380SL.

Thanks,
-George-

PS: Has it out on a drive today and was surprised to find I got over 26MPG highway with it using Gulf 87 regular. Till now the best highway mileage I ever achieved was a bit over 21! :D
Clockwise. You are basically just screwing in a screw that pushes down on the sensor plate which changes the attitude of the internal plunger which lets more or less fuel pass.

Be careful, though.....1/16th turn changes everything.
