It stops buzzing if you have the key in the on position after a few seconds. =)

Its cool...you wanna customize the door buzzer. I think you are one of the first to ask that here.

 

The buzzer is built into the seat belt warning relay located in the driver's footwell.

 

I just opened up relay and de-soldered the buzzer from the board. Cuz honestly I know when my door is open lol, its not like the newer ones where if the door is not closed properly it keeps buzzing letting you know the door is not properly closed, once the little button is pushed it thinks the door is closed so i got rid of it all together.

Dont just unplug the whole module though, because then ur dome lights wont work lol.

 

If it's like what MTI saids, just replace the "buzzer" with anything you LIKE.

 

It also buzzes when your headlights are still on....... which has saved me a couple times lol

 

The warning buzzer in my original W201 failed and I fell victim of headlight induced battery death. As a backup measure, I've installed the "Battery Brain" device that monitors battery load and electronically disconnects the battery if it senses that there is a circuit drain that will deplete the battery below its ability to start. It also makes it a snap to take the battery offline when working on the car.
