Start with your hand, palm facing up, at the parking brake release. Then slide your hand down along the lower surface of the instrument panel, essentially toward the front of the car. After your finger tips pass the end of the lower panel, there is a two to three inch long, but narrow lever, which your middle finger should find, if you started this whole move with your hand at the center of the parking brake release. With your finger tip, actuate the hood release with a gentle tug downward at the tip.
At the hood, with your right hand, gently lift the hood an inch or two and place your left hand under the hood, to the left of the ornament, and feel for the secondary release.
