The guy that bought my original 98 ML320 now has 290,000 miles on it. He still loves it. Has had no major problems and last summer even took it to Alaska and back. Says it now burns about a qt of oil every 9000 miles. On a daily basis he uses it for his business and it goes to NY and back plus some other trips 5 to 6 days per week. It is still serviced by the original selling dealer that I purchased it from. He bought it with 45000 miles on it in Aug of 01 when I got my 02 ML500. This was recently traded for an 06 ML500.

Funny you should ask........Just turned over the big 250,000 miles today !

She is still running GREAT and I plan on giving it to my 16 year old son in a few months once he gets some more driving experience. I believe the ML is one of the safest vehicles on the road, and believe it or not, I will probably be looking for a used ML for my next car ! One things for certain, I should be able to get a great deal on one since they have depreciated so badly !!

Just put fresh Michelin Cross Terrains on her as well as a Mobil One oil change. Next up is a complete detail and maybe replace all of the door panel speakers.....we'll see...

I'll make sure to post some pictures when finished with the detail......

126,000 miles.

I had the headlight fogs since delivery and recently installed the Silverstars. (made in Germany by Osram which is the MB supplier) I like the Silverstars, but it was not a breath taking difference by any means. I also have the main headlight bulbs switched to Silverstars.

Blackhawk......those foglights are great...I tried a lot of different H3 bulbs but I definately prefer the Piaa Crystal Ion...it emits a bright yellow light down just in front of vehicle and off to the sides(just like a foglight should).
yup, it is perfect going around corners too because they have such a wide lighting area!

I always have the foglights on unless it is night then I use the headlights and sometimes both, they make the ML look extremely sharp driving down the road in the middle of the day as well as unique since I haven't seen any other ML with their foglights on only in my area, and don't forget the "lights on for saftey" [8D]

You're still around after all these years Bro ! Amazing, I'm quoting you from 2006 - and I now, just, qualify for the Badge # 1, just hit 160,000 miles on our 2002 ML500.

How do I get the Badge ?
