Hey all. I am putting together a 300TD engine (non-turbo) from a 1980 wagon and I'm wondering what the torque spec is for the 4 small head bolts--the 2 in the chain area and the 2 just outside it--the ones with the allen heads.

Thanks!

step two 90Nm or 66.38 Foot pounds
setting interval 10 min
step three 100Nm or 73.75 Foot pounds

Hex socket cylinder head screws
step one 40Nm or 29 Foot pounds

Thank you, but actually, I was wondering about the 4 smaller M8 bolts that use a 6mm hex socket/allen wrench to tighten. I assume they should be tightened after the (regular) head bolts but to what torque I can only speculate. Anyone have any info on this?

Thanks,
