More ghetto than corny. Silver and black are good colors. Silver with a hint of blue flake may look good if that's your taste.

Pearl Grey from that era. All time favorite Mercedes color.

 

199 Blue-black metallic is always a good color to go with.

For me is black! mirror finish.

 

What is the original color? You will kill the value by changing the color. There's nothing nastier to me than popping the hood of the car and the engine bay is a different color than the body. I wouldn't go with flakes. If you want to do something crazy, go with Kandy or pearl or something. That is if you don't like the factory color. I'm partial to black 190E's, or silver. Those colors fit the car really well.

I love midnight blue, otherwise on the 190E I love my dark red/crimson color or a red alert color (or whatever that name is). On a tan interior, it's great imo.
