I don't see why you couldn't, but I'm not sure why anyone would want to. That fuel tank that you have, I think that's the one that allows one to load long things like poles or similar through the trunk and into the cabin if needed. A lot of us here in the USA wish they'd included that option over here (they didn't).

Sir, actually why I buy new tank becouse then old have issue with fuel sensor( Sending unit) I search everywhere for this . I think allmost 1 year gone I am back of it.At last I find one he saying 500aed for it,but used fuel tank cost only 250aed. Half of sensor.so I thought better to buy the used one, ya you are right we can’t access trunk from inside .but it’s ok my car will show the real value of gas in it.I am allways tensed becouse of the fuel sensor it allways go up and down when I turn on road and it will show wrong value.

Ah, I see. In that case, again, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't fit.

I'm guessing from your post that you have not been able to source just the sending unit. The part is available, though, if I'm understanding what you're looking for. Here it is.

Another option is you could try cleaning the fuel sending unit. I tried that once. When I took it out it looked clean but I cleaned it anyways with a fuel system cleaner (Techron). It worked for a short while (few weeks I think), then it went back to being off by like 1/4 tank. I decided to just order a new fuel sending unit at that point. I didn't get super technical with the cleaning like some other people so it's possible you could repair your unit if you're about that life.

I'm not sure installing an entire gas tank for the fuel sending unit is worth it considering you're getting a used unit - you have no idea how good it is and you're going to change your entire tank for it. You might as well just find a used fuel sending unit - it's much easier to install and will be cheaper than a used tank.
