Does anyone in the community know where to send the CIS fuel distributor for a complete rebuild and recalibrated? I am in the process of getting the 1979 450 SL to run again after many years of sitting in the garage. Fuel tank and fuel delivery system were recently cleaned and rebuild completely. Still the car will not start. Next is replacing the injectors and rebuilding the fuel distributor assuming it is clogged and rotted out from sitting for the last few years. Please help. Thank you.

Back from the business trip. Sorry for the long delay in my reply. Thank you all for your helpful response and tips. I will look into the CIS FlowTech and see what they can do. I got all new injectors while on travel and hope to have those installed in the next couple of weeks.

The car has 146K miles and the engine turns and runs with some gas pour into the air intake. Any further suggestions on the steps is deeply grateful!

Need to check your fuel pressure delivery and control pressure. The WUR may be stopped up.
If the WUR (Warm up regulator) is stopped up the control pressure will be the same as the inlet pressure and no fuel will be delivered to the injectors.
Else rebuild both WUR and fuel dist if you don't want to buy the CIS fuel injector test setup. (Amazon)
You may have to replace (rebuild) both anyway but it may save you some money to find out first.
