E450 Same thing, but differrent

I'm in the market for a new E-class. Went to the local dealer and found out MB is making changes to the E400. It will be the same thing, but different:laugh.

The salesman showed me the information sheet for the 2019 W213s and the options have changed. It looks like MD is allowing you to pick and choose your options with fewer restrictions. Now, I am trying to determine what options I really want.

The wife says "BLUE". So, that options is selected.
I say V6. So, the E450 it is.
No real need for AMG. I'm too old for that much speed anymore.

Now, what interior seems to fit blue exterior the best? Not a big fan of leather, the MB tech has done just fine for my GLK.

Has anybody seen the new W213?

Pulled the trigger

When I stopped my the MB dealer, I was quoted a delivery date in late November (three months). Since I don't like getting a new car in the winter, I decided to buy an E-class sedan off the showroom floor.

I like the metallic paint colors, and the closest one matching what I wanted was a metalic gray E43W. Guess I will have to somehow enjoy the AMG power. :thumbsup:

So far, it has been a dream to drive around town. The rough Maryland roads have not been a problem.

She's not there

Well, I wanted to take a picture of the Gray Lady, but as you can see by the photo of my driveway, she's not there:frown. She is back at the dealer:crying:crying.
If you look closely at the photo, you will notice some oil spots. That is all that is left. There were no oil spots before I parked her there.
They said I will get her back in a day or two. :dunno: And, I didn't even get a loaner car. :eek:
I'll keep you posted...
