It's normally covered up - the photo is with the cover removed.

Even in the darkest of times, enlightenment and truth have always followed ignorance. I can sympathize with your philosophy. Be patient!!
Of course those that thought the earth was flat, also imagined they were enlightened. But the truth probably was that they were too scared to try in any case.

And in modern times, those that are too scared or have too little imagination to try anything by themselves, always have a mantra of 'take it to the dealer' or 'always replace, never repair'.

So, I guess anybody can deduct that I think this is a valuable sticky. I also guess somebody would be happy to have all stickies and DIY just read 'Take it to the dealer'.

Why anyone would even think of dismantling the duo valve, except to replace it, is beyond me. I guess people make choices and get pissed off when you would not have made that choice and told them so.

If you have answers to these observations, keep it a secret as you will kill the after market parts business.
I opened the Duovalve, cleaned the plungers, refitted, and problem solved :D
Yay, and the mystics score again - and somebody got egg an his face - again!:D Not of course that he would ever admit when he's wrong.

Than Kobus, when was the last time you had service SALESMAN advising the $15 cleaning job, instead of $250 replacement?
I guess that's why forums like this one is so valuable to us common plebs - and why dealers/salesmen hate it. :D
