Just went to MB website and saw the new SL. Man, those new headlamps are not attractive at all.

By the way, trunk capacity 10.2 cu ft (top up), 7.2 cu ft (top down) which is definitely bigger than the 911. But the question still remains - do golf bags fit in the trunk top up?

If your clubs are too long, get the MB custom bag that fits on the rear shelf behind the seats. I put everything in that bag.

I can fit two medium golf bags into the trunk and have the top down as well. I have looked into a dozen roadsters before I bought the SL. Apparently, this is the only car that can do it.

 

I get a full set in mine, but have to take the drivers out of the bag otherwise it sits too high over the raised bit on the right hand side, the drivers just sit behind the bag....

Dont go on a golfing holiday though, theres not much room in there for a suitcase!

 

I want one of these cars badly but they're not at all practical are they? I mean not even a little bit.
