Hello and thanks for the reply. Yes I do have a manual but this require I disarm it every time I get out of the car. I would like to make it a permanent fix either buy removing the tow sensor or bypassing it some how. Anyone out there know if this is possible?

No there is no way to bypass it. A new Trip Computer is necessary.

 

I think the sensor in the car will be attached to the security module situated in the rear fuse box/computer e box. Not sure if you can just unplug it though. Someone on here may know more about how it operates.
