CD for NAV

My 05 SL55 with 93% of the parts on the car new, LoL just an inaccurate figure, but... the CD player works when playing CDs that are in the changer behind the driver seat. I got a Navigation disc, but the disc currently in the in-dash CD holder won't eject and it will not accept a new disc inserted, presumably because there's already one in there. When selecting "Navi" it says "No Disc". I usually (never) use navigation, since I most often know where I'm going, or pretend to. But it would be nice to have the Nav "work". I also have my cellphone and its GPS for if I'm ever out of town so this isn't a big deal. 99% of the time I leave Location Off, but Big Brother can still tell where you are, when and for how long anyway. But it would be nice to have the car's Nav system operational. If it involves a big expense, forgettaboutit. If there's simple fix, I'd love to hear about it. Many thanks and Kind Regards

Sorry I don't know how to eject a stuck nav or whatever dvd, cd, etc. That slot at the command unit is for the nav dvd. There are 9 or 10 regional discs that you use depending on your location. You can find disc sets up to 2009 or 2010.

Haven't tried using SDS. I have a disc and wanted to insert but there's one in there. Someone said remove fuse to radio, wait a few minutes, replace, and it might reset it and then be able to eject. May try that this weekend.

"Turn Left..." NO, Not there!! Now turn around... Not there... Oh, forgettaboutit!!!"
Don't get enough nagging at home...
My cellphone has a GPS in it; I don't use the one by Google, I use Herewego, and it has a beep sound with three little dots on the screen. Don't use it much, only if I'm outside my usual circles of driving. I was wondering for a long time why it was constantly beeping and displaying three little dots on the screen. Almost all the time... Finally found out what those were telling me. "Traveling faster then the posted speed limit"! LOL
My SUV and my S-Class both have working Nav and I almost never use that feature. It can be fun to put the map on the screen and see the arrow indicating where you are. If I'm out of town somewhere, is where it's handy. My SL talks to me all the time, it's a silent car language, it just sits there and silently says, I love you. Don't know where I would be without you. LOL
